ABOUT ME

Hi friends! Nathalie, founder of NCF, here.

Welcome to my little corner of the internet where I aim to inspire, motivate, and educate you into becoming the greatest version of YOU that you can be. Since 2016, NCF has been dedicated to amplifying the lives of hundreds of women through fitness, nutrition, and empowerment.

NCF was founded on the principle that you don’t need to sacrifice your favorite foods to have your dream body. It’s all about balance.

At a very young age, I witnessed my Mom struggle with body image issues and have a negative relationship with food. Like many other women, I grew up watching my mom terrified of gaining weight. I didn’t realize that I was modeling her behaviors and by the time I reached middle school, I had developed body dysmorphia. Although I was never overweight, I hated the way I looked. I would stand naked in front of the mirror and pick apart my body.

In 2013, I began training at bootcamp classes where I was first introduced to resistance training. I started seeing results in my lower body which made me super excited but after a couple of months, I fell off my routine. I then joined another gym where I was taught the ins and outs of the weight room. This was a game changer. I fell in love with weight training. I started seeing even more visible changes but what made me feel really empowered was feeling myself getting stronger. I was hooked on weight training… but something was still missing.

After years of yo-yo dieting, binging on the weekends, and doing endless amounts of cardio, I still didn’t have the body of my dreams. It wasn’t until then that I realized I had to be doing something wrong. I knew how to workout but where I always fell short was my nutrition! I didn’t know what to eat, when to eat, or how much to eat in order to reach my goals. It wasn’t until I learned about nutrition and how to properly fuel my body (not starve myself!) that I finally saw the results I was chasing all those years.

In 2016, I graduated with my B.Sc Bachelors Dietetics & Nutrition and I’ve made it my mission to educate and empower women about their relationships with food.

So much love,
